Sterlite Power, a leading power transmission infrastructure company, is seeking an experienced Project Enablement Manager to lead the enablement of statutory approvals and Right of Way (ROW) for its projects.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely regulatory permissions and clearances, as well as coordinating with various government authorities and stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and coordination skills, and experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain regulatory permissions and clearances from various government authorities, including Section 164, PTCC, NHAI Crossings, Railway Crossings, Power Line Crossings, State Utilities, Civil Aviation, Defence Aviation, Inland Waterways, River Crossings, and Dams.

  • Prepare and submit applications for statutory clearances in a timely manner.

  • Map inputs required from interdependent teams, including Design & Engineering, LiDAR Allied Survey, and Projects Team.

  • Identify and liaise with government authorities, NGOs, politicians, and other pressure groups to ensure seamless coordination.

  • Finalize and confirm the checklist of documents to be submitted.

  • Avoid application rejections by providing all relevant documents and inputs.

  • Provide insights on time requirements for various permissions and integrate with project timelines.

  • Ensure ROW clearance for ongoing projects, prepare MIS, Compensation trackers, and conduct internal and external audits.

  • Maintain a central repository system of permission documents for knowledge management.

  • Obtain NOCs within specified timeframes and prepare reports/lessons learned for critical permissions.

  • Perform legal due diligence for new projects and address ROW-related legal issues.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 13-17 years of experience in project management, regulatory compliance, or a related field.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance procedures.
