Software Development Specialist Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist to join our organization in Noida, India. This role requires a detailed understanding of client business, technology and process needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Builddetailed understanding of client business, technology and process needs
  • Identify gaps and enhance development procedures as per client/product requirements
  • Collaborate with program management team in schedule preparation, tracking and estimation
  • Create flexible technical design that is scalable and reusable
  • Develop re-usable reconciliation procedures
  • Allocate and guide teams from kick off to go live of projects
  • Assist pre-sales team in dev related RFPs
  • Promote teamwork and culture of accountability
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Life Insurance domain
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in programming and debugging using COBOL, JCL, VSAM and CICS technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • LOMA Certification
  • Experience in SDLC lifecycle in waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Experience in translating business requirements and gaps into technical specifications
  • Working knowledge on JAVA, Shell Scripting and Linux
