Ariba Technical Consultant Job Description

Objective:

We are seeking an experienced Ariba Technical Consultant to implement, customize, and support SAP Ariba solutions to enhance procurement and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and configure SAP Ariba solutions to meet client requirements by analyzing business needs and developing tailored technical solutions.
  • Customize Ariba applications including Ariba Buyer, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, and Ariba SIPM to streamline procurement processes and improve supplier relationships.
  • Integrate SAP Ariba with other SAP modules and third-party systems to enable seamless data exchange and automate business processes.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Ariba applications to ensure high system uptime and minimal downtime.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Ariba implementations and customizations to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand and address technical requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Ariba solutions to ensure maximum efficiency and cost savings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong technical background in SAP Ariba including implementation, customization, and support.
  • Experience with Ariba Buyer, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, and Ariba SIPM.
  • Ability to integrate SAP Ariba with other systems.
  • Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
