Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Business Development professional to lead our commercial efforts across India. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maximizing market opportunities and driving business growth.
Your primary objective will be to manage business operations, including sales and market share gain for products and/or services throughout assigned regions in India domestic and regulated markets. You will set effective positioning of our brand messaging together with definable and measurable sales goals and ensure they are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine strategies for selected accounts and build wallet share of business for our company in India.
- Lead operations and day-to-day activities to ensure smooth functioning of businesses and monthly order forecasting for production planning.
- Grow share of business, expand relationships within the customer identifying influencers, gatekeepers, decision makers within the region of India, and direct and align with Global and Regional Key Account Managers to penetrate client organizations.
- Deploy strong consultative selling approach with assigned accounts to identify supply chain challenges and develop value-creating solutions.
- Interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses from time orders are received to time shipments are dispatched as per customer requirements.
Requirements
Business Acumen
- At least 15 to 20 years of relevant industry experience in API Sales and Business Development (India market focus preferred).
- High energy individual with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in hands-on, collaborative fashion with many different disciplines both inside and outside the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in contributing to negotiation and closing of partnership agreements.
