Job Description

The role of a Legal Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of land acquisition and property transactions. This involves conducting thorough title verification, due diligence, and risk assessments to guarantee that all legal processes are followed accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting, reviewing, and vetting property documents, including sale deeds, agreements, and contracts, with attention to bilingual accuracy.
  • Ensuring compliance with land acquisition laws, township policies, registration, and stamp duty regulations applicable in Uttar Pradesh.
  • Effective coordination with local authorities for seamless registration and legal clearances.
  • Advising management on legal risks and go/no-go decisions regarding property deals and land matters.
  • Supporting and guiding the company on regulatory compliance matters related to real estate policies and municipal bylaws.
  • Managing relationships with external legal counsel when required and overseeing litigation or dispute resolution processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in real estate law, preferably within real estate companies.
  • Strong expertise in property laws and land acquisition matters specific to Uttar Pradesh.
  • Hands-on experience with drafting and vetting legal documents in both Hindi and English.
  • Deep understanding of due diligence processes and title verification for land matters.
  • Excellent coordination and negotiation skills with stakeholders and local authorities.
  • LL.B/LL.M degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
