Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Land Acquisition Specialist to lead our land acquisition efforts in various locations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in land management and at least 7-12 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in land acquisition and land management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate land acquisition across multiple sites and regional teams.
  • Manage private land acquisition, government land allotment, forest land acquisition, and private land acquisition via LARR.
  • Assist in resolving land issues at multiple sites, including litigation, encroachments, and ceiling limit exemptions.
  • Prepare regular MIS reports to track acquisition progress and issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with revenue documentation and title search documents.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including land aggregators, regional land teams, business development teams, legal teams, project teams, and finance teams.
  • Support regional teams in mutation, collection of original sale deeds, and coordination with finance teams for fund release and CAPEX budgeting.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor acquisition progress and support in resolving land issues.
  • Coordinate with land aggregators and regional land teams for private land acquisition as per business requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of land acquisition processes and regulations.
  • Knowledge of land laws and familiarity with revenue documentation.

Negotiable Skills:

  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Excel proficiency and MIS preparation.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and navigate complex land acquisition processes.

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Knowledge of Google Earth and KMZ.

Experience:

A total experience of 7-12 years with a minimum of 5 years in Land Acquisition and Land Management. Experience in the Cement Industry is preferred but not mandatory.
