Job Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned talent acquisition specialist to drive strategic recruitment initiatives for our organization's global operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective hiring strategies, leveraging diverse sourcing channels, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers, business leaders, and functional heads to understand workforce needs and design tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Leverage multiple sourcing channels (job portals, referrals, social media, academic networks, and talent pools) to identify and engage high-quality candidates. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of active and passive talent for current and future roles.
  • Develop and implement engaging and seamless recruitment journeys from initial contact to onboarding, ensuring candidates experience professionalism and transparency at every stage.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to craft compelling job descriptions and promote openings through relevant channels, enhancing the employer brand in the education sector.
  • Analyse recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness, optimize processes, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with employment laws, UGC guidelines, and organizational policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment documentation.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of recruitment experience, with a strong focus on managing talent acquisition portfolios.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRMS, and other recruitment software/tools.
  • Proven track record of building high-performing teams from scratch and scaling recruitment processes in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
