Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues and providing expertise to obtain customer acceptance and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The primary focus of this role is to report discrepancies from customers after installation or support operations.
  • Escalation of open customer issues to management is also a key responsibility, with the need for clear and accurate documentation.
  • Logging necessary information in CRM system is an essential task.

Customer Interaction:

  • Maintaining high customer satisfaction through professional customer relations via phone, email, or other service tools is crucial.
  • Occasional customer visits may be required to assess product/service satisfaction and promote new ideas/improvements.

Technical Support:

  • This position involves providing Barco product technical support to the organization.
  • In-house onsite remote training for customers, partners, and customization/maintenance of training equipment is another important aspect of this role.
  • Translation of existing training material when appropriate is also required.

Complaint Assessment:

  • The successful candidate will evaluate complaints for medical devices and determine if they are potentially reportable to authorities based on relevant regulations.

Quality and Project Management:

  • Detecting quality issues and forwarding relevant information to escalation channels is a key responsibility.
  • Leading special technical departmental projects and performing other duties assigned by leadership is also an essential part of this role.
  • Reviewing results of corrective actions is a critical task.
