We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to drive sales of pharmaceutical products in a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To gather market trends and competition status information from stockists and chemists, and relay this data to senior sales management for strategic decision-making purposes.
  • Conduct regular Prescription Audit on doctors in the assigned area to identify potential high-prescribers and provide a final list of doctors likely to prescribe large quantities to senior sales management for sales forecasting purposes.
  • Pursue ongoing training and product literature updates to ensure the highest level of knowledge in the field.
  • Collaborate with senior sales management to obtain sales targets and promotion details.
  • Utilize allocated resources to plan launch activities for different doctors, camps, or Continuing Medical Education sessions in the assigned area.
  • Maintain regular communication with doctors through sales pitches and presentations to promote products effectively.
  • Submit reimbursement bills to senior sales management in a timely manner.
  • Implement marketing strategies provided by the Product Manager to meet business objectives.
  • Gather Point of Business details from chemists and coordinate with stockists to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Monitor and track sales of new products with chemists to achieve sales targets consistently.
  • Collect queries from doctors regarding both new and existing products, and enter them into the system for review by our team.
  • Utilize email responses from our team to address doctors' queries and increase prescriptions per doctor.
  • Maintain regular interactions with doctors to understand their prescription trends, and communicate this data to senior sales management accordingly.
  • Provide valuable feedback to Area Sales Managers, Sales Business Managers, Regional Sales Managers, or Head Office based on customer needs.
Qualifications:
  • Educational background: Graduate with a science focus.
  • Minimum work experience: 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Technical Skills:
    • In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical products and marketing strategies.
    • Awareness of key trends in Pharmaceutical Sales.
    • Experience in implementing and analysing sales and marketing initiatives.
    • Basic computer skills.
  • Behavioural Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and leverage relationships effectively.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective decision-making skills.
