Job Title: Service Engineering Specialist

This is a challenging role within the global shared service department that requires expertise in supporting technical experts to resolve complex issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for authoring documents, maintaining information about failed components, and regularly updating management on new potential serial defects.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing technical support to local business units and central business units.
  • Assignment of tasks along the technical support process.
  • Collection of information about the performance of mechanical components of wind turbines.
  • Identification and reporting of potential serial issues.
  • Evaluation of risk potential, budgeting, and scheduling of necessary activities related to major non-conformities.

Career Requirements:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience (preferably from the wind industry) in Mechanical drive trains and roller bearings (e.g., design and development, evaluation of fault conditions, and error analysis), preferably big-size roller bearings.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills in Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong multitasking skills.
  • Good stakeholder management, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge in Teamcenter PLM, Windchill PLM, SAP.
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting.

  • Ability to deal with unexpected difficulties.

  • Valid GWO is good-to-have including work at height.
