Job Title Application Support EngineerOpenings 3Experience 1-3 YearsJob Summary We are looking for skilled Application Support Engineers to join our team and work under the guidance of the Application Support Lead The ideal candidates will have a strong background in application support database management and troubleshooting You will be responsible for monitoring application performance resolving issues and assisting with database queries and documentation Requirements Linux server knowlegdgeLinux commandsApp DeploymentKey Responsibilities Application Monitoring Monitor application performance and respond to alerts ensuring high availability and reliability of applications Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve application issues working closely with the Application Support Lead and other team members to ensure timely resolution Database Management Assist in writing and optimizing SQL queries for MS SQL and PostgreSQL focusing on performance and indexing Documentation Contribute to the creation and maintenance of support documentation including troubleshooting guides and RCA documents Collaboration Work with the Application Support Lead and engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions User Support Provide technical support to users addressing their inquiries and assisting them with application-related issues Deployment Support Assist in application deployments using Docker ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience 1-3 years of experience in application support database management or a related field Proficiency in MS SQL and PostgreSQL with hands-on experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries Familiarity with Docker for application deployment Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
