About the Role


The role of a Fundraising Manager in an NGO involves identifying strategic funding needs, generating leads, and creating business prospects. This position requires a strong understanding of business/CSR requirements from clients and converting them into scalable proposals. The successful candidate will manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverables per client objectives. Key responsibilities include targeted sales approaches, fundraising, and developing a support team. The ideal candidate will work closely with program lead teams for raising long-term regular funds through corporate/institutional partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • • Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities
    • Develop and implement strategic plans for securing funding
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors and partners
    • Collaborate with program teams to ensure alignment between fundraising efforts and program goals
    • Monitor and analyze fundraising performance data to inform future strategies

Requirements

• Strong understanding of business development principles and practices
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of successful fundraising or business development experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with CRM systems and other fundraising technologies
