About the Role

The Fundraising Team Leader will oversee a team of fundraisers, driving revenue growth and improving fundraising skills.

  • Minimum two years experience in fundraising, sales, or marketing is required.
  • Prior experience of fund-raising for the development sector is an added advantage.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven sales abilities with a sound target achievement record and comfort in holding and meeting fundraising goals.
  • We are seeking an individual to assist with team induction and provide ongoing onsite training and coaching.
  • A strong understanding of face-to-face fundraising techniques, objection handling, codes of conduct, and day-to-day operations is necessary.
  • The successful candidate will ensure team members are familiar with and can use appropriate fundraising techniques.
  • This role involves keeping the team motivated and ensuring they behave in a disciplined manner.
  • We require someone who can quickly identify and report disciplinary issues or events that may implicate the organization or the well-being of team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Team Management: Oversee and manage a team of fundraisers, providing guidance and support to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Training and Development: Deliver onsite training and coaching to improve fundraising skills and knowledge.
  • Fundraising Techniques: Ensure team members are proficient in face-to-face fundraising techniques, objection handling, and codes of conduct.
  • Disciplinary Issues: Identify and report any disciplinary issues that may impact the organization or team members.
