Job Overview

Applus IDIADA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development professional to lead our commercial efforts in the Indian market. As Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive revenue growth, expand our customer base, and establish strong relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including OEMs and Tier ones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.
  • Manage and monitor the progress of projects with key clients, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement sales policies, including pricing, schedules, terms, and conditions.
  • Manage and coordinate a multinational team, assigning objectives, tracking progress, and providing technical support as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a similar position within the Indian automotive market.
  • Previous experience in engineering or high technical level services.
  • Deep understanding of the local/client's and government business culture.
  • Able to define marketing strategies and develop business consultative sales processes.
