Assistant Leader

Job Description: As a key member of our Accor Hotel team, the Assistant Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Food and Beverage outlets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily departmental briefings to maintain open communication and ensure all team members are informed of key information and tasks.
- Supervise team members to guarantee that all assigned tasks are completed on time and in accordance with departmental standards.
- Build strong relationships with guests and regular patrons by learning their names and preferences to provide personalized service.
- Handle guest complaints and comments in a tactful and efficient manner.
- Manage administrative tasks related to cashier/bar operations and company policies.
- Maintain a departmental communication logbook and update the noticeboard to ensure all team members are aware of important information and updates.
- Monitor the supply of equipment and stock levels to prevent shortages that could impact operations and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure the outlet and back-of-house areas are clean and in compliance with F&B sanitation and hygiene rules and regulations.
- Maintain a complete knowledge of all food and beverage services, including contents and preparation methods, as well as hotel services and features.
- Guarantee that LQA Standards health, safety, and security procedures are in place in the outlet.
- Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings assigned by management.
- Perform proper handovers and communication to the next shift.
- Assist other Food and Beverage outlets during peak times or as needed.
Requirements:
- High School/GED equivalent or Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity or management level.
- Strong knowledge of beverage trends, fermentation, cocktails, zero-alcohol, and wines.
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
