About ofi: A Leading Player in the Global Ingredients Market
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Strategist to lead our F&B Solutions sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in B2B technical sales, with a strong background in food/nutraceuticals raw materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and Execute Sales Strategies
* Develop and execute strategies, plans, forecasts, and reporting to grow sales and margin.
Capture Market Insights
* Analyze performance and forecast trends to identify commercial improvement opportunities.
Monitor and Report Sales Performance
* Track and report actual and forecast sales performance, analyzing data and taking corrective actions as necessary.
Cross-Sell and Upsell Opportunities
* Identify and capture opportunities to cross-sell and upsell ofi ingredients, developing and presenting solutions to customers.
New Customer Acquisition
* Identify, evaluate, and recruit new Food & Beverage Solutions customers to expand market reach.
Contract Negotiations and Adherence
* Manage contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements.
Ongoing Engagement and Relationship Building
* Onboard new channel customers and provide ongoing engagement to F&B Solutions customers, ensuring they are well-versed in ofi's single ingredient products and sales processes.
Value-Generative Relationships
* Develop long-term relationships with customers that result in increased sales and margins.
Alignment and Partnership
* Ensure full alignment of commercial approach with all key ofi stakeholders (products/categories/marketing etc) and partner with IQFS & Operations to align sales strategy and product offerings with technical and operational capabilities and customer needs.
Supply Chain Oversight
* Oversee supply chain aspects for key customer accounts, tracking and managing product warehouse inventory, including periodic ageing analysis and ensuring rotation/timely stock liquidation.
Logistics and Support
* Partner logistics and support staff to ensure excellence in contract execution, inventory management, stock ageing, rejections, debtors, and vendor payables. Lead the internal response to customer issue resolution.
Maintain Technical Knowledge
* Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of ofi products.
People Management
* People management of direct reports (if required).
