Global Payroll Project Manager

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead payroll and SaaS implementation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and completing projects while ensuring client satisfaction and building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope documents and requirement specifications.
    • Maintain all project artifacts in a structured and accessible format, complying with internal documentation standards.
    • Document key decisions, action items, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Scope Management:
    • Define project scope based on the Master Service Agreement (MSA) to prevent scope creep.
    • Establish processes for managing scope, quality, performance standards, and risk assessment.
  • Resource Allocation:
    • Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, ensuring efficient utilization.
  • Client Communication:
    • Manage client expectations with respect to the scope and project timelines.
    • Act as the primary contact for client stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and changes.
  • Requirements Gathering:
    • Ensure all client business requirements are documented in accordance with the company's documentation requirements.
  • Integration & Data Migration:
    • Coordinate data dictionary and wage type catalog requirements with the integration team.
  • Testing Oversight:
    • Oversee and supervise all testing processes, ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices.
  • Training & Go-Live Readiness:
    • Develop and execute a structured training plan to educate clients on system functionalities, payroll processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Project Status Reporting:
    • Ensure timely and accurate project status reporting in accordance with company standards.

This role is particularly critical in a global payroll outsourcing or SaaS industry scale-up, where adaptability, process optimization, and operational efficiency are essential.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in end-to-end global payroll implementations project management.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proven track record of successfully delivering projects, and a deep understanding of payroll and SaaS implementation.
