Find Next Hire is seeking a talented Salon Operations Director to lead our clientFASHIONTV team.
Job Summary:The Salon Operations Director plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the salon, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving business growth. They are responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, and creating a welcoming environment for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate salon staff to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets and maximize profitability
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting salon environment
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
  • Recruit, train, and schedule salon personnel
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement cost control measures
  • Stay updated on industry trends and recommend product or service enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source quality products
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support to staff
  • Coordinate promotional activities and marketing efforts
  • Manage social media and online presence
  • Handle administrative tasks such as payroll reporting and recordkeeping
  • Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in salon management or a similar role
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory control and budget management
  • Knowledge of cosmetology services and products
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Sales and marketing experience
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
  • Certification in cosmetology or a related field is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office and salon management software
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for the beauty industry
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
