Job Summary:

Fashion TV is seeking a highly skilled Salon Manager to lead our team of professionals in delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the salon, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and creating a welcoming environment for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Lead and motivate salon staff to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and schedule salon personnel to ensure seamless operations.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement cost control measures.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and recommend product or service enhancements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Marketing: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source quality products and coordinate promotional activities.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks such as payroll reporting and recordkeeping.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in salon management or a similar role.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and teambuilding skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Inventory Control: Proficiency in inventory control and budget management.
  • Cosmetology Knowledge: Knowledge of cosmetology services and products.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales and Marketing: Sales and marketing experience.
  • Decision-Making: Problemsolving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Industry Regulations: Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Certification: Certification in cosmetology or a related field is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and salon management software.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Customer-centric mindset with a passion for the beauty industry.
  • Organizational Skills: Organizational and time management skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree is a plus.
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
