Job Summary:

Fashion TV is seeking a highly skilled Salon Manager to lead our team of professionals in delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the salon, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and creating a welcoming environment for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate salon staff to deliver outstanding customer service, develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets and maximize profitability.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels, maintain a clean, organized, and inviting salon environment.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner, recruit, train, and schedule salon personnel.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement cost control measures, stay updated on industry trends and recommend product or service enhancements.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source quality products, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing coaching and support to staff.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Coordinate promotional activities and marketing efforts, manage social media and online presence, handle administrative tasks such as payroll reporting and recordkeeping.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in salon management or a similar role, strong leadership and team building skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory control and budget management, knowledge of cosmetology services and products, ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales and marketing experience, problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities, familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Certification in cosmetology or related field is a plus, proficient in MS Office and salon management software, customercentric mindset with a passion for the beauty industry.
  • Organizational and time management skills, high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree is a plus, ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
