Job Overview:

The Senior Manager - HR Operations will lead the organization in managing employee lifecycles, payroll, compliance, and policy implementation. This role requires expertise in HR operations, strong leadership, and process optimization for efficiency and performance alignment across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Employee Lifecycle Management:
    • Manage employee onboarding, data accuracy, and document management.
    • Oversee exits, including full & final settlements and clearance processes.
  • Payroll & Compliance:
    • Process payroll, manage tax filings, and ensure statutory compliance.
    • Handle payroll audits and reconciliations.
  • Policies & Procedures:
    • Draft and finalize policies, contracts, and employee manuals.
    • Develop guidelines for income tax, leave, and attendance workflows.
  • Performance Management & Alignment:
    • Drive performance management cycle end-to-end (goal setting, mid-year, annual appraisals).
    • Ensure consistency and fairness in evaluation and feedback processes.
  • KPI Schools & Edufice OKR Tracking:
    • Coordinate with school leadership to define, track, and report school-level KPIs.
    • Build dashboards linking HR data with academic/operational outcomes.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the HR operations team.
  • Ensure accurate dashboards for attendance, leave, engagement, and performance alignment.

Audits & Compliance:

  • Conduct audits on payroll, attendance, leave, ESI, PF, PMS records, and OKR progress.
  • Generate reports on attrition, cost analysis, KPI school reports, and compliance summaries.

Key Deliverables:

  • Accurate, timely payroll & compliance filings.
  • End-to-end execution of PMS cycle with meaningful outcomes.
  • KPI school dashboards and review reports.
  • Edufice OKR tracking dashboards and quarterly reviews.
  • HR analytics reports linking employee data with organizational outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8–10 years' experience in HR operations, with 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Proficiency in HRMS, PMS, OKR tools, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, statutory compliance, and HR systems.
