We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and achieving sales targets in the logistics industry.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets in the logistics or related industry, with at least 6 years of experience. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the assigned sector, including senior executives, supply chain managers, and procurement officers.
Key Responsibilities:
- To expand our customer base, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets by identifying and engaging potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, industry conferences, and referrals.
- To build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively managing the sales cycle of each opportunity through CRM with regular reports and insights.
- To develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the unique value propositions and benefits of our logistics services.
- To negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting customer requirements and market standards.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets in the logistics or related industry, with at least 6 years of experience.
- Relevant logistics expertise within identified sub-sectors – Assigned.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport, persuade, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex logistics solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunities.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of AUD $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.
