Business Development Executive - US Logistics

Overview:

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our sales team as Business Development Executives (BDEs) in the North American logistics market. As a BDE, you will be responsible for securing freight loads from shippers, negotiating rates, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Acquisition: Engage in outbound sales calls to build and expand a portfolio of customers for freight services.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market demands, and competitors to provide valuable insights and identify potential opportunities.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate rates with carriers and shippers to secure the best deals for both parties.
  • Documentation: Handle and manage the necessary paperwork and documentation associated with freight transactions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and understand the logistics industry, even if you do not have prior experience in this field.
  • Eager to Learn: Display a strong interest in developing expertise in the logistics field.

Salary Details:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $30,000 to $40,000 per month, depending on experience and skills. Additional incentives (commissions) are provided based on performance. For experienced freight brokers, salary is negotiable with no upper limit for candidates with a substantial and proven book of business.
