Executive Chef

As a key member of the AccorHotel team, the Head Chef will be responsible for leading the culinary operations of our esteemed establishment. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional who can develop and implement innovative food and beverage concepts that exceed guest expectations.
Key ResponsibilitiesFood and Beverage Production Planning- Design and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
- Collaborate with our wine team to create exceptional wine pairings that elevate the dining experience.
- Lead and motivate a high-performing kitchen team to achieve exceptional standards and work volumes.
- Monitor and maintain the highest standards of grooming, personal hygiene, and equipment usage among kitchen staff.
- Liaise effectively with the Service and Stewarding Department to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement on-the-job training programs to enhance the skills of kitchen staff.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among kitchen staff to drive kitchen objectives.
- Minimize food waste and optimize inventory management to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Understand and align with the organization's departmental financial objectives.
- Oversee all food functions to ensure consistency and quality in food production.
- Manage food product ordering to ensure timely delivery and meet financial objectives.
- Meet deadlines and timelines set by the Restaurant and Bar Manager.
- Monitor food presentation to ensure compliance with company standards and guidelines.
- Manage rosters for casual, agency, and section staff to ensure optimal resourcing levels.
- Distribute work schedules efficiently to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Monitor food quantity and quality to ensure adherence to Accor standards.
- Ensure safe and proper use of equipment among kitchen staff.
- Coordinate food details for events to ensure seamless execution.
- Attend operational, event management, and work-related meetings as necessary.
- Communicate OHS&E policies and procedures effectively to all employees, contractors, and volunteers.
- Provide induction and department-specific training to ensure employee understanding and compliance.
- Develop and implement department safety plans in consultation with employees.
- Promote OHS&E management by example.
