- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management

Experience:

- Total Experience : 3 Years as a chef
- Minimum Experience : 1 Year of Proven experience as a sous chef or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the head chef in managing kitchen operations and workflow
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring high-quality and consistent dishes
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and standards
- Collaborate with the head chef in menu planning and development
- Monitor and maintain kitchen inventory, ordering supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Execute creative and innovative cooking techniques
- Step in to lead the kitchen in the absence of the head chef
- Foster a positive and efficient work environment within the kitchen team.

Requirements for Sous Chef:

- Culinary Skills: Strong cooking and food preparation skills with a keen understanding of various cuisines.
- Leadership Abilities: Ability to lead and manage kitchen staff effectively.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within the kitchen team.
- Creativity: A creative approach to menu planning and the ability to contribute to innovative culinary concepts.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage kitchen operations, inventory, and ordering efficiently.
- Time Management: Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Adherence to Standards: Knowledge of and commitment to maintaining high-quality and safety standards.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy kitchen equipment as needed.
- Team Player: A collaborative attitude and the ability to work as part of a cohesive kitchen team.
- Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills to address kitchen challenges effectively.
- Hygiene and Safety: Strict adherence to health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Languages:

- English, Hindi and Marathi.
