
Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly ambitious and entrepreneurial-minded Bid & Offer Manager to join our team during this exciting period of growth. This individual will play a crucial role in the development of our business out of Indian delivery centers.
The successful candidate will work closely with Business Managers, Technical Directors, and Account Managers, reporting directly to the India Head - Presales. Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end bid process, from qualification to contract award.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Technical Directors and Business Organizations to ensure offers and project references are ready for submission.
- Anticipate upcoming RFIs/RFPs and associated risks, supporting coordination efforts across teams.
- Support new business strategies and developments, including preparation of documents required for bids.
- Manage bids effectively, ensuring group offers are maximized and the value of ALTEN's offer is optimized.
- Coordinate bid teams, comprising technical, business, legal, quality, center of expertise, and partners.
- Review and store information on the CRM tool, performing lessons learned and analyzing risk for each bid.
Key performance indicators (KPIs) will be issued from the CRM tool, with regular reporting to management, business units, and Technical Directors. The successful candidate will analyze bid process maturity by business unit and develop action plans to improve win rates and reuse best practices.
