Purchasing Planning is a crucial part of the job, where you will be responsible for ensuring the team has been trained on all safety provisions, motivating and developing the team to ensure smooth functioning of the department, and providing effective support to the team to enable them to provide a range of effective and efficient services.

Financial Management is another key area, where you will monitor and maintain inventory records of all purchases made, identify optimal and cost-effective use of resources, and educate the team on the same.

Operational Management involves preparing and inviting tenders, contracts, and other related documents to ensure a regular supply of materials, carrying out negotiations with vendors, manufacturers, and agencies to obtain the best combination of price, quality, quantity, delivery, terms of payment, and reliability of supply, and investigating and following up on complaints received from receiving, stores, and user departments about products and obtaining corrective actions from vendors.

Managerial Qualities are also essential, where you will demonstrate leadership skills that utilize persuasion and motivation to attain organizational goals, accept responsibility, show self-confidence, motivation, drive, and tenacity, enhance organizational performance, clearly delegate tasks and responsibilities, think strategically, inductively, and creatively, and recognize and acknowledge other people's ideas.

Qualifications include at least 10 years of prior experience in the Purchase function, 2 years of experience in a similar role with a luxury brand, and pre-opening experience is essential.
