Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Environmental Sustainability Expert to develop and implement strategies that ensure our sustainability ambition is achieved.

  • Develop and implement environmental action plans to reduce energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste generation.
  • Source green energy and improve energy efficiency through various initiatives.
  • Implement sustainable food and beverage practices, including food waste management, sourcing, and trends.
  • Reduce plastic pollution and promote eco-friendly alternatives.
  • Foster diversity and inclusion within the community and support local charities.
  • Protect biodiversity and coordinate with relevant bodies to optimize sustainability performance.
  • Train staff at all levels on environmental issues and good practices.
  • Liaise with local authorities, public bodies, and NGOs to promote sustainable development.
  • Report on environmental performance to internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement environmental management systems to continuously improve our impact on the environment.
  • Raise awareness of sustainable practices among guests and promote our sustainable performance locally and within the Accor group.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years' experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a sustainability or environmental role.
  • Proven experience in managing and implementing CSR strategies in a similar organization.
  • A strong interest in environmental issues and sustainable projects.
  • Knowledge of luxury hospitality and attention to detail.
