Regional Sales Manager

About the Team: The QR/Soundbox team is a key business and payments vertical in our organization, responsible for merchant acquisition, retention, and growth in India.
About the Role: We're seeking an experienced sales professional and people manager to join our QR & Sound Box vertical. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of growth and market share expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive distribution and market share growth in assigned areas of operations
* Ensure visibility and accountability through extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sales
* Identify and recruit sales teams to align and drive business in the market
* Plan market size, span, and geographies for ASMs
* Develop effective communication plans to minimize expectations vs delivery gaps
* Monitor quality parameters as suggested by management
* Validate and conduct audits on acquisitions and sales
* Manage a large team of 5-10 City Heads, ASMs, and 200+ indirect employees
Requirements:
* Good networking capabilities and willingness to travel extensively
* Skilled in coaching and mentoring, with a quick learning ability
* Self-starters who can take ownership and navigate ambiguity
* 8-12 years of experience in sales - business development, B2C markets
* Passionate about working in a fast-growing firm and large team handling
* Articulate complex solutions to novice customers
* Good sales and negotiation skills, with experience in quota-driven sales
Education: MBA (Marketing)
