Job Opportunity: Culinary Expert

We are seeking a talented and passionate culinary professional to join our team as a Chef de Partie. The ideal candidate will have expertise in regional cuisines, particularly Indian and Chinese.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that showcase regional and Himalayan-inspired flavors. They will work closely with the culinary team to develop menus that incorporate local ingredients and traditional cooking techniques.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to design and implement menus that highlight regional and Himalayan cuisine.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare high-quality dishes that meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members and commis chefs to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the role.
  • Kitchen Operations: Work closely with the sous chef to maintain efficient kitchen operations and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor food wastage and support procurement processes to optimize inventory levels.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience in quality hotels or resorts.
  • Strong expertise in Indian, Chinese, and regional cuisines, with knowledge of traditional cooking methods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment.
