The role of Sushi Chef de Partie (CDP) involves preparing and presenting sushi dishes to high standards, ensuring food quality and consistency, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization, adhering to food safety guidelines, and collaborating with the kitchen team to create new recipes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present sushi dishes according to established standards.
  • Ensure food quality and consistency in all prepared dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new and innovative sushi recipes.

This is a full-time on-site position that requires excellent knife skills, knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, and strong team collaboration and communication skills.

Requirements
  • Experience in sushi preparation and presentation.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Creativity and attention to detail in food presentation.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
