Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our Oracle Utilities implementation team in Saudi Arabia. This role involves working directly with a utility client to manage a team of Oracle utility experts in implementing Oracle's Customer Experience for Utilities (CX4U) solution for a high call volume call center.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks of a small team, ensuring that project deliverables are met while adhering to the scope, schedule, and budget. This is an onsite position located in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the successful delivery of project deliverables, ensuring business value meets customer expectations.
  • Create and maintain PMO artifacts, such as the project plan and JIRA board, to ensure on-time completion of project tasks.
  • Track risks and issues, facilitate problem resolution, and manage communication and escalation of issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide project status reports and debriefs to leadership on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Oracle product teams, developers, testers, and project managers.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure alignment.
  • Provide go-live and post-implementation support to ensure solution effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the Utilities domain.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in the utilities industry.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (waterfall and agile).
  • Experienced in leading projects utilizing standard project management tools (MS project, JIRA, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable providing project updates to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, promote effective communication, resolve conflict, and handle conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills and a keen interest in delivering high-quality deliverables.
