Contract Specialist

The ideal candidate will draft, review and negotiate diverse contracts to ensure legal compliance, align agreements with business objectives, mitigate risk and maintain accurate contractual records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review contracts such as vendor agreements, service contracts, employment contracts, NDAs, licensing and partnership agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align contractual terms with company strategies and policies.
  • Analyze contract terms to identify legal or business risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations and internal standards.
  • Maintain a central repository of contract documentation and metadata for easy retrieval and tracking.
  • Monitor the contract lifecycle and flag deadlines proactively.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on contract policies, best practices and risk areas.
  • Support in resolving contract disputes, audits and compliance reviews.
  • Prepare contract performance reports and metrics for senior management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB/LLM), Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in contract drafting, reviewing and negotiation.
  • Strong command of contract law, legal terminology and risk assessment.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
