Essential Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project timelines to ensure timely delivery
  • Progress Monitoring and Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on project advancements and provide actionable insights
  • Team Coaching and Development: Foster growth through coaching, mentoring, and skill development for team members
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of all project activities while ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations
  • Maintenance Engineering and Project Delivery: Oversee MEP activities across projects, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and ELV systems
  • Collaboration and Integration: Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to achieve seamless integration
  • Procurement and Contract Negotiation: Oversee procurement processes, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage MEP services effectively
  • Site Inspections and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough site inspections to guarantee adherence to design and safety standards
  • Project Updates and Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling project updates to stakeholders and senior management
  • Sustainable Solutions and Risk Mitigation: Implement energy-efficient solutions and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience: 8-10 years of experience in MEP project management
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Green Building Practices: Knowledge of green building practices and energy codes is an asset
