Plant HR Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Human Resources Manager to oversee the end-to-end human resources function at our Ambattur plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire HR lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing setup. They will possess excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

The selected candidate will be responsible for driving employee engagement initiatives and ensuring healthy industrial relations with contract workers and unions. They will also be responsible for coordinating with finance vendors for timely payroll processing and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

In addition, the Plant HR Manager will maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management. They will prepare HR MIS reports on a regular basis and handle documentation related to offer letters, confirmation, separation, etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Plant HR functions (preferably in a manufacturing setup)
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently
