Job Purpose

  • Provide leadership and manage business to achieve set financial/non-financial objectives vis-a-vis, development strategies, team management, relationship planning, local networking, liaison with product areas, roll outs, sales promotion, balance sheet management, risk minimization, staff skills development, and staff engagement.
  • Define market strategy and approach with input from CEO, and benefit of input from respective Teams (which products to which clients, market segments & approach to develop a broad based corporate portfolio and pursue growth opportunities).
  • Introduce performance metrics & drive business performance of the total Portfolio.

Key Results Area

  • Balance Sheet & Income Statement: Ensure efficient management at business and country to produce desired results by maximizing return on capital & minimizing credit/operating risks.
  • Loan Portfolio: Guide & assist Heads to develop & maintain acceptable loan quality by upholding high standards & diversified business. Avoid concentrations & vulnerability to economic industry cycles.
  • Funding Plan: Expand resources and increase deposits in consolidated basis to match with the total asset's growth.
  • Business Development: Position to take advantage of emerging opportunities by developing strong relations with key leaders/forums. In addition, identify & develop consistent & recurring revenue generation sources to support B/S & new development.
  • Portfolio Quality: Ensure implementation of controls in line with bank's policy and local regulatory directives in order to attain a satisfactory rated portfolio quality.
  • Plan marketing strategy of the Team and ensure establishment of account plans to attain business focus and roadmap the budget.
  • Develop strong working relations with existing clients at decision-making level, to position as their bank of first choice.
  • Implement controls in line with bank's policy to attain a satisfactory rating on asset portfolio quality and on credit processes.
