About the Job Opportunity

The Senior Manager - Administration will oversee administration and operational functions at Inspire Institute of Sport, managing day-to-day activities across various departments to ensure smooth administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations, ensuring efficient functioning in alignment with the institute's objectives.
  • Oversee logistics for competitions, events, and athlete travel, including scheduling, transportation, and accommodations.
  • Develop and implement administration and operational procedures to optimize processes.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Track expenses, monitor budgets, and propose cost-saving measures.

Strategic Planning and Process Improvement:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with the long-term vision of the institute.
  • Continuously assess existing processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce redundancies.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all operational and administrative functions comply with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Identify potential risks proactively and implement solutions to mitigate them.

Event Coordination and Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination for events and activities.

Travel Management:

  • Facilitate and oversee travel arrangements for athletes, staff, and guests.

Health and Safety:

  • Implement and monitor safety protocols across the institute.

Facility and Asset Management:

  • Oversee maintenance and proper functioning of sports facilities and infrastructure.

Financial Management:

  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting.

FRRO Compliance:

  • Manage compliance with FRRO processes for international athletes and staff.

Residential Life Management:

  • Oversee the management of hostels and staff accommodations, ensuring smooth operations.

Inventory Control:

  • Maintain inventory for the institute and manage stores operations.

Salary: ₹1.5 crore - ₹2 crore per annum (approximately $200,000 - $275,000 USD), depending on experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 10 years in administrative roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in administrative, operational, and financial tools.
  • Familiarity with Indian regulatory frameworks, including FRRO processes.
