Customer Success Manager Job Description
The Role of a Customer Success Manager is crucial in ensuring the satisfaction and success of customers. This role involves serving as a single point of customer accountability, responsible for orchestrating all deliverables, experiences, and renewals for Signature.
- This role requires strong stakeholder relationships with customers IT and business executive leadership, sponsors, and decision-makers within their organizations.
- A successful Customer Success Manager will help their customers achieve their business goals and outcomes on the Salesforce Marketing platform by coordinating the completion of the Signature Success catalog of services.
- They will provide timely and proactive guidance on Salesforce features based on customer interests and act as an advisor to customers for the adoption of new features of Salesforce's annual release schedules.
- An effective Customer Success Manager must communicate the value of Signature Success to stakeholders and be accountable for ensuring all collaborators understand this value.
Minimum Skills Required
- An experienced professional with 8+ years of relevant industry expertise in Technical Customer Success, Customer Success Management, SaaS platform use or project leadership, Technology Consulting, Technology Solutions Development, Technical and/or Solutions Architecture.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Able to analyze technical concepts and translate them into business terms and map business requirements into technical features.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in business-friendly terms to customers and explain customer needs to internal partners.
Preferred Requirements
- +2 years in the Salesforce Ecosystem.
- Salesforce product certifications are a plus (Marketing Associate, Marketing Cloud Administrator, Salesforce Certified Associate, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist).
- Deep understanding of Marketing Cloud, marketing automation, personalization, advertising, and/or marketing platforms.
