Job Title: Business Development Head - Facility Management
Position Overview:
The Business Development Head is responsible for driving growth and expanding the client base within the Facility Management industry. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the FM Industry, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities.
- Analyze market data and client feedback to refine business development strategies.
- Lead Generation and Networking:
- Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and industry events.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Establish and cultivate relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth objectives.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Lead negotiations and close contracts with prospective clients.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Regularly engage with clients to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Work closely with senior management to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
- Provide regular updates and detailed reports on business development activities and outcomes.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for business development initiatives.
- Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets set by the company.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to sales and business development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8 to 15+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the Facility Management industry.
- In-depth knowledge of facility management services, solutions, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage key stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
