We are currently seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Portfolio Research Analyst to join our team. This role plays a key part in analyzing client portfolios, providing actionable insights to portfolio managers, and ensuring alignment with client objectives and risk-return parameters.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting portfolio analysis and rebalancing to optimize asset allocation and manage risk-adjusted returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Analysis and Rebalancing
  • Conduct thorough analysis of client portfolios to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement rebalancing strategies to optimize asset allocation and minimize risk.
  • Research and Due Diligence
  • Perform in-depth research on Mutual Funds, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), and Portfolio Management Services (PMS) products to support investment recommendations.
  • Performance Monitoring
  • Monitor and track the performance of client portfolios against benchmarks and market trends.
  • Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with portfolio managers to design customized investment strategies that meet client objectives.
  • Prepare detailed research reports, presentations, and client notes to facilitate informed decision-making.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA or CAIA are highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in portfolio research, wealth management, or investment advisory.
  • Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of portfolio rebalancing techniques and asset allocation models.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mutual Funds, AIFs, and PMS structures, strategies, and regulatory aspects.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and analytical tools such as Bloomberg or FactSet.
