As a Senior Accountant, you will maintain and update the fixed asset register to ensure accurate and timely recording of acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register in accordance with accounting standards
  • Conduct regular physical inventories of fixed assets and reconcile with the fixed asset register
  • Prepare and post journal entries related to fixed assets, including depreciation and impairments
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of fixed asset-related disclosures
  • Develop internal controls related to fixed asset accounting and ensure adherence to policies
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fixed asset accounting
  • Semi-qualified CA (Preferred) / Qualified CA (Optional)
  • Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with cooperative approach
  • Strong knowledge of accounting processes and controls
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
