Fixed Asset Management Specialist

The Fixed Asset Management Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of fixed assets within an organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creation and management of capital budgets, including top-ups and amendments.
  • Analysis of budget versus actual spend to prevent project overspending.
  • Effective communication with project managers regarding project details, completion status, and delays.
  • Capitalization of fixed assets.
  • Reconciliation of fixed assets.
  • Physical verification and impairment of fixed assets.
  • Ensuring service level agreements and key performance indicators are met.

This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with financial data and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Additionally, this role involves:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Developing and implementing asset management strategies to optimize resource allocation.
  • Providing expert advice on fixed asset management best practices.
