  • Asset Tracking and Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a detailed inventory of all IT hardware and software, including tracking their location, status, and ownership.
  • Lifecycle Management: This includes overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from initial procurement to retirement, including tracking warranties, maintenance schedules, and disposal processes.
  • Software License Management: The IT Asset Manager will be responsible for managing software licenses, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and optimizing software usage to avoid overspending or underutilization.
  • Compliance and Auditing: The successful candidate will ensure that IT assets are compliant with relevant regulations, company policies, and security standards. They will conduct regular audits to verify asset accuracy and compliance.

  • Cost Optimization: This involves identifying opportunities to optimize asset utilization, reduce costs, and maximize the value of IT investments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with IT Asset Management software: The ideal candidate should have experience with ITAM software like Manage Engine or equivalent.
  • Inventory Management: Strong background in inventory management and tracking tools.
  • Ticketing tool: Experience with ticketing tools.
