Freelance Marketing Document Asset Specialist

Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Marketing Document Asset Specialist to manage, maintain, and optimize our library of marketing assets. This role is critical in ensuring that all marketing documents—such as brochures, datasheets, presentations, case studies, and whitepapers—are current and accessible. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the product marketing and e commerce to support global marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

 Asset Management:

o Organize and maintain a centralized repository of marketing documents and collateral.

o Ensure version control and proper tagging for easy retrieval and usage.

o Audit and archive outdated materials regularly.

 Content Coordination:

o Collaborate with content creators and product marketers to ensure timely updates to

assets.

o Track asset lifecycle from creation to retirement.

 Quality Assurance:

o Review documents for consistency, formatting, and accuracy and edit where necessary

under the guidance of the product marketer and/or product owner.

o Gather feedback and continuously improve asset usability and relevance.

 Technology & Tools:

o Manage digital asset management (DAM) systems and other content platforms.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Library Science, or related field.

  • 1+ years of experience in marketing operations, asset management, or content coordination.

  • Proficiency in DAM systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Experience working in a global or matrixed organization is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and content management systems (CMS).

  • Understanding of B2B marketing and product lifecycle.
