IT Asset Management Expertise

As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will oversee the lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to retirement. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate inventory tracking, asset optimization, and governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive IT asset management strategies to minimize risks and maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to ensure cost-effective asset acquisition and disposal processes.
  • Manage hardware asset management (HAM) processes for accurate inventory tracking, asset optimization, and governance.
  • Lead software asset management (SAM) programs to ensure license compliance, audit readiness, and effective vendor management.
  • Implement cloud insights practices to monitor, optimize, and report on cloud consumption and costs.
  • Maintain and govern configuration management database (CMDB) and asset repositories to ensure accuracy and compliance with IT governance standards.
  • Conduct regular audits, reconciliations, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate IT asset-related risks.
  • Train and coach junior staff on IT asset management best practices, tools, and compliance requirements.

  • Proven expertise in IT asset management, including hardware and software lifecycle management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks and standards.
