Business Development Manager - IT Sales

Estimated salary: $150,000 - $250,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive to drive business growth in the IT services sector. As a Business Development Manager - IT Sales, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with potential clients in the Gurgaon region.

You will develop a deep understanding of client needs and present tailored IT services and staff augmentation solutions. Your goal will be to devise and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

This role requires strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. You must be a strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients in the Gurgaon region.
    • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and present tailored IT services and staff augmentation solutions.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Devise and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
    • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Market Analysis:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
    • Analyze market demands and contribute insights to refine service offerings.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with marketing to create compelling collateral and participate in promotional events.
  • Custom Solutions:
    • Collaborate with technical teams to understand client requirements and propose tailored IT solutions.
    • Create and present proposals, addressing client-specific needs.
  • Contract Negotiation:
    • Lead negotiations to secure contracts and agreements that are mutually beneficial.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Performance Metrics:
    • Track and report key performance metrics, providing regular updates on sales pipeline and achievements.
    • Continuously assess and improve sales processes for enhanced efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience (12+ years) in business development for IT services and staff augmentation.
  • Strong understanding of the IT services landscape and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
