
Housekeeping Assistant

The primary role of the Housekeeping Assistant is to support the smooth operation of the housekeeping department. This involves delivering exceptional guest experiences, maximizing satisfaction and comfort, and responding promptly to guest inquiries.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out assigned duties and tasks in a timely and professional manner. You will also contribute to achieving departmental plans and objectives, ensuring that hotel initiatives and targets are met.
Effective collaboration with immediate reports is crucial in controlling costs and inventory, attaining productivity and performance levels, and promoting the company culture and values.
In addition, you will ensure adherence to all legislation, performing due diligence requirements and best practice activities, and documenting these for internal and external audit purposes.
Requirements- Previous experience in housekeeping is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong communication skills are required, as well as a hands-on approach and can-do attitude.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and a passion for the hospitality industry are also necessary.
- Personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence are essential.
- Experience working with IT systems on various platforms is desirable.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
