Job Overview

The Human Resources Project Officer will oversee and implement all Human Resource processes at project sites for Solar and Wind power projects.

Our ideal candidate will ensure seamless HR operations, drive employee engagement, manage workforce administration, and support site leadership in building a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. HR Operations at Project Sites: The officer will manage end-to-end HR Operations for project staff, ensuring adherence to company HR policies. It includes leave & attendance management, reimbursement claims etc.
  2. Onboarding: The officer will facilitate and coordinate effective onboarding and induction programs for all new site joiners, including fresher ITIs, DETs, GETs, and staff.
  3. Performance Management System (PMS): The officer will coordinate goal setting, mid-year, and annual performance assessments; ensure that performance feedback and appraisal processes are conducted efficiently at site level.
  4. Goal Setting & KRAs: The officer will assist site teams in cascading organizational and individual goals; monitor progress and support alignment of objectives.
  5. Induction and Training: The officer will conduct induction sessions for new joinees; coordinate, organize, and deliver training programs—especially for fresher ITIs/DETs/GETs on soft skills, company values, safety norms, and other technical/non-technical topics.
  6. Records Management: The officer will ensure accurate documentation and HRIS updates, and maintenance of employee records.
Employee Engagement and Retention:
  1. Conflict Resolution: The officer will act as the first point of contact for conflict resolution among site personnel; employ fair and transparent methods to resolve issues proactively.
  2. Employee Relations: The officer will build strong relations with project employees and workers through regular visits, townhalls, and open forums, fostering a transparent and inclusive culture.
  3. Grievance Handling: The officer will address and resolve grievances in a timely and sensitive manner as per HR policies. Record, track, and report grievances to senior management.
  4. Employee Wellbeing: The officer will support engagement activities to drive motivation, promote wellbeing, and enhance retention at project sites. Drive employee engagement surveys for the site employees.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–7 years relevant experience in HR domain (preferably with site HR work and/or renewable energy project exposure).
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, PMS, onboarding, grievance handling, and labour laws.
  • Experience in training freshers (ITIs, DETs, GETs) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently and work across multiple project locations.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and able to thrive in dynamic, remote site environments.
