Job Overview

The primary role of the Legal Officer is to handle administrative matters, manage client teams, and maintain relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare corporate documents, including directors' and members' resolutions, powers of attorney, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate and execute legal, administrative, and banking activities for companies.
  • Monitor productivity and chargeability on a weekly basis and review performance against targets to ensure financial and client targets are met.
  • Manage companies and ensure that all information in client files is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assure that companies are capitalized, and management agreements are available in client files (if applicable).
  • Work closely with managers to maintain client databases and ensure they are updated and accurate at all times.
  • Develop and update legal manuals and procedures and contribute to the development and maintenance of systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or Economics / Qualified Company Secretary.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in legal and corporate/company management services in a law firm, trust, or company management firm.
  • Strong commercial mindset, takes initiative, positive, proactive, dedicated, focused, and revenue-driven.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, well-developed spoken and written communication skills, and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences.
  • Excellent English language fluency, additional languages preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented with good decision-making and time-management skills.
  • Independent, hands-on, and takes accountability to deliver solutions and results.
