
Strategic Account Growth Specialist

To achieve sustained business growth, we seek a Sales Officer who can effectively identify and acquire new customers in targeted segments.
Key Responsibilities:- To introduce and acquire new customers in the specified segment by generating referrals from the identified catchment area.
- Ensure high-quality sourcing of current accounts, focusing on product mix, customer segments, and account constitution.
- Provide initial customer support and ensure timely activation of accounts (offer appropriate advice on products and documentation, facilitate opening an account within the defined timeframe, familiarize customers with branch services and processes, monitor welcome kit delivery, and follow up for repeat funding and transaction use).
- Proactively register and activate acquired customers to direct banking channels.
- Collaborate with the Business Relationship Leader in catchment mapping and scoping exercises, providing regular feedback on opportunities, customer needs, and competition benchmarking.
- Maintain monthly targets for new customer acquisition by analyzing transaction banking needs of existing customers.
- Strictly adhere to organizational selling norms and internal/external regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure quality sourcing aligns with bank policies.
- Adhere to sales processes and Know Your Customer (KYC) norms.
